PACI Multi Pitch Abseiling course This Nationally accredited course is great for bush walkers/adventure seekers/racers that require abseiling skills in a large range of contexts to compliment their knowledge. It is also excellent for students who wish to gain a large range of Abseiling skills prior to beginning training as an Outdoor Leader. The multi-pitch abseiling course is designed to cover the knowledge and skills a person needs to independently undertake multi-pitch abseil descents. Training covers practical abseiling techniques and self belay procedures, retrievable abseil systems, vertical mobility (ascending/descending), knot by passes, planning & contingencies Training is designed to be realistic and customised to suit your particular needs Duration: Two (2) days nominal (pre course study is required) may vary according to location Cost: $320.00 per person Enrolment: Must be at least 15 years of age - Speak and understand English - be fit and healthy for participating in activities at height Location: Will advise on locations when booking (will be tailored to your local areas) Equipment: You are encouraged to use your own equipment if approved by our instructors. We will lend equipment for the course if needed. Many Australian cliffs are in remote areas and have no facilities. Students should come fully prepared for the outdoors.
