PACI Single Pitch Abseiling course This Nationally recognised Abseiling course is great for bushwalkers/thrill seekers who will find that with abseil skills they can reach and retreat from a range of situations. The abseiling course is designed to cover the knowledge and skills a person needs to independently undertake single-pitch abseil descents. Training covers selection and use of knots, rope management, setting up anchors, selecting descending devices, abseiling techniques, and self belay procedures. Training is designed to be realistic and customised to suit your particular needs. Duration: One (1) day nominal (may vary according to location) Cost: $199 per person Enrolment: Must be at least 15 years of age - Speak and understand English - Fit and healthy for climbing Location: Will advise on locations when booking (will be tailored to your local areas) Equipment: You are encouraged to use your own equipment if approved by our instructors. We will lend equipment for the course if needed. Many Australian cliffs are in remote areas and have no facilities. Students should come fully prepared for the outdoors.
