PACI Multi Pitch Lead Climbing course Perfect for climbers who are already competent in single pitch lead climbing, but now want to progress to the more complex multi-pitch environment. The course is designed to give you knowledge and skills to climb a multi-pitch route on-sight from the ground up. Training covers selection of equipment, escaping from a belay, guide book interpretation, using removable protection device (cams, wires, nuts etc), rope management, belay systems, (including hanging belays), climbing techniques, safety calls, double rope climbing technique and retreating from a route. Training is designed to be realistic and suit your particular needs. Duration: Three (3) days nominal (may vary according to location) Cost: $675.00 per person Enrolment: Must be at least 15 years of age - Speak and understand English - Competent in lead climbing skills (single pitch) - Fit and healthy for climbing Location: Will advise on locations when booking (will be tailored to your local areas) Equipment: You are encouraged to use your own equipment if approved by our instructors. We will lend equipment for the course if needed. Many Australian cliffs are in remote areas and have no facilities. Students should come fully prepared for the outdoors.
