The four suspension straps are attached at a single point, either the ceiling hook included with the cradle, or to a special stand available as an optional accessory. The benefit of suspending it in this manner is that the cradle doesn't rock in one direction only, but allows soft rhythmical movements familiar to the baby from conception.
