How Novalac Colic worksIn Novalac Colic formula, a significant proportion of the lactose is replaced with other easily digestible carbohydrates which aim to reduce wind and abdominal pain. The level of lactose is designed to meet the infant’s absorption capacity, while leaving little or no excess to be fermented in the colon. The reduced level of lactose is sufficient for normal mineral absorption and healthy intestinal flora. Novalac Colic is specially formulated for everyday use. Novalac Colic is not suitable for general use and should be used under medical supervision.
