There were a few problems with my order but in the end it worked out well.
Firstly, I couldn't order the product on the website because of some error that may or may not have been within Ted's control (for example, perhaps it was a banks error.) I managed to phone up on Monday the 13th July. The order was processed by Tuesday and received an email saying it was sent that morning. It actually was sent the following day which was a Wednesday.
Unfortunately it wasn't received until Friday - the following Friday, two working weeks after I ordered my item. I had rung the customer support twice and told that Australia Post was still in possession of the item.
On the following Monday a representative from Ted's called me to personally apologise for the late delivery and provided me with a $20 voucher to spend at their store as well as a two year extended warranty on the item. I was pretty happy with that.
So overall, I get the impression that the staff at Ted's really do want to make a positive impression on their customers so I will likely buy from them again regardless of any negative issues I may have initially experiences.

Solid all around. First time i have bought from Teds but a great experience. Also once you factor in delivery charges, warranties and memory cards they were great value for money.

Excellent stores. I would take their advice over the other so called experts any day of the week. Excellent advice. The people who work there often own DSLRs themselves so you are getting real world advice not some sales pitch memorized from a magazine.

Ted's are real professionals, they got the camera to me quickly and i've had great support with questions. I visited their store when i couldn't figure out the camera and they were helpful.
