Wilderness First Aid Course 6-10 July 2009 Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in Units: HLTFA301B Apply First Aid HLTFA302A Provide first aid in remote situation This 5 day wilderness first aid course has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of Outdoor Leaders and Guides working in adventure based activities such as rock climbing and abseiling, as well as any individual who has a passion for the outdoors and exploration in wilderness environments. This wilderness first aid course will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and attitude required to undertake the initial management of a wide range of wilderness emergencies, until handover to emergency personnel.
