Fruit for this expressive Sauvignon Blanc is grown our Pemberley vineyard in the spectacular Pemberton Wine Region, a cool climate area renowned for growing some of the most expressive Sauvignon Blanc in Western Australia.The 2014 vintage is a further development of this style of wine and has been matured on its yeast lees for 8 months. Maturation on yeast lees gives a more textural mouth feel and adds a touch of complexity. This technique is employed by winemakers in making Chardonnay wines and by winemakers in the French region of Sancerre, the home of Sauvignon Blanc

The 2012 Pinot Noir has been crafted from flavourful grapes and is a wine that illustrates the unique varietal and regional characters of Pemberton Pinot Noir. The aroma displays ripe strawberries and hints of cloves, enhanced by fine oak characters. The palate is soft and elegant with ripe fruity characters and fine grained tannins.“This Pinot Noir given careful cellaring, over the next 4 to 5 years, will continue to improve, displaying more vibrant flavours and soft tannins.
Pemberley ChardonnayFrom $24
Fruit for this fine Chardonnay was selected again from the same patch of the Pemberley vineyard, recognised as one of the premier vineyard sites in Pemberton. The cool climate region of Pemberton is renowned for growing some of the most exciting Chardonnay in Western Australia.The 2014 vintage of Pemberley Chardonnay was hand picked, whole bunch pressed and fermented with natural yeast from 163-year-old cellars.The wine was fermented in new and seasoned French Oak barriques. Combined with regular yeast lees stirring, the wine developed great complexity and a creamy palate.The wine was handled minimally and was bottled in December 2014.The 2014 Pemberley Chardonnay displays all the flavours, quality and complexity one would associate with one of the best Chardonnays from Pemberton.The wine displays white peach, melon and subtle French Oak characters on the nose. The palate is rich, full flavoured, has wonderful texture and complexity with a long crisp finish. The 2014 Pemberley Chardonnay is currently served on British Airways Business Class.

It’s filled with the unique complexity garnered from ancient Cambrian soil and shows a swathe of black fruit, earth and spice on the nose. 6 x 2015 Tyrrell's Hunter Valley ChardonnayFrom $19.99
Some of our favorite blocks were selected for this wine. The nose is citrus with a slight hint of oak, the palate is weighted and generous and has the texture and complexities associated with time on lees. A rich and fresh Chardonnay, with subtle cream undertones, making it a perfect companion to chicken or pasta dishes. Excellent drinking upon release and will develop in complexity with short term bottle age. The ‘baby brother’ to our famous Vat 47 Chardonnay, our Hunter Valley Chardonnay is made to the same high standards that our flagship Chardonnay receives. An almost perfect growing season was experienced for the 2014 vintage, one of the best in recent memory. This meant that all of the fruit we harvested was in pristine condition and had beautiful flavour. Sourced from a small selection of our favourite Chardonnay blocks, the grapes were both hand and machine picked before gentle pressing and fermentation. The wine was matured in new and older French oak barriques, and spent all of this time on yeast lees to give the palate added complexity and texture.
