One hundred and sixty people cultivate the vines on 325 acres located approximately 500 and 600 meters above sea level. RUMBALL SPARKLING SHIRAZFrom $20.99
RUMBALL SPARKLING SHIRAZ: The Sparkling Shiraz is elegant with full fruit and strong Shiraz varietal character. It has a soft, smooth palate and is a great wine to complement fully flavoured foods. The Coonawarra Shiraz gives the palate a long fruit finish with a roundness and depth to the middle palate. Try this wine with roast duck, kangaroo, buffalo and quail. Or as an alternative, with strong cheeses such as Stilton, Blue Vein or Parmesan.
VEUVE CLICQUOT YELLOW LABELFrom $57.99
VEUVE CLICQUOT BRUT YELLOW LABEL: Very complex, intense aromas. Fresh fruited but showing honey, marzipan, brioche of autolysis. Layered and moussey in the palate, but bright, fresh, fine acidity. Light, brisk and squeaky. Finishes pretty short but has a decided delicacy. Feels drier and crunchier than recent forays into this wine, the gentle tweak of dosage showing its hand? I guess. Lovely to drink, effortless, though feels a little bony and thin. Still, this is shiny and good. Score: 92 points Mike Bennie. winefront.com.au
