GIACONDA ESTATE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2011: Notes of ripe black fruit and cedar, the nose is racy and has a classic Cabernet character without showing any green edges. The palate structure is very assertive whilst still being rich and long. This wine finishes with classic fine grained firm tannins which run right through the structure and will enable long term aging potential.
GIACONDA ESTATE SHIRAZ 2011: A melange of red fruits with aspects of C?te-R?tie briar and earth characters. Pepper and spice combine with a highly aromatic bouquet to give a lifted and expressive nose. The palate is fine, taut and concentrated with hints of savoury oak and dried herbs. This wine is densely packed with fruit which carries through to the finish with fine grain tannins and perfect acidity as the result of a cooler year.
