Nokia Lumia 510 4GB Mobile PhoneFrom $0

The Nokia Lumia 510, the Windows Phone handset that is expected to become Nokia’s most affordable one, has now finally gone official. The device features a spacious 4-inch WVGA screen and a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera recording video in VGA resolution at 30fps. The Lumia 510 runs on Windows Phone Mango, but it will get updated to Windows Phone 7.8 bringing the new home screen with smaller live tiles. Being an affordable device, the handset runs on an 800MHz single-core Snapdragon S1 processor along with 256MB of RAM, and features 4GB of internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy A8From $603

The Galaxy A8 is the slimmest Samsung phone to date and sports a 5.7" 1080p Super AMOLED display, making it the largest phone in the metallic A-series. The handset runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 615, clocked at 1.5 GHz, and has 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of internal memory, plus a microSD slot. The rear camera is a 16 MP ISOCELL endeavor, while the selfie-snapper is listed with 5 MP resolution, and a wide f/1.9 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy V Plus Mobile PhoneFrom $339

If you’re looking for a smartphone that’s simple yet powerful, the Samsung Galaxy V Plus is perfect for you. It comes packed with the key features you want in a top-notch smartphone, maximising your mobile life.

Samsung Galaxy V Plus boasts a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor, 4”display, 1,500 mAh battery and Samsung’s own intuitive TouchWiz Essence UX user interface, making using your phone easier and more fun than ever.

Samsung Galaxy J5 Mobile PhoneFrom $270

" Android OS v5.1 (Lollipop)Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor 1.5GB RAM. 5.0-inch, 720 x 1280 pixel display T13.0-megapixel camera 8GB of built-in storage support microSD cards of up to 64GB."

Samsung Galaxy J7 4G 16GB Mobile PhoneFrom $296

Samsung Galaxy J7 LTE 16GB

The Galaxy J7 houses an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 system on a chip. Its CPU runs at 1.4 GHz, which is a bit higher than average for a phone's CPU. 1.5 GB of RAM means that it has more memory than an average smartphone, which will boost overall phone peformance.

Acer Liquid X1 Mobile PhoneFrom $0

Obviously, Acer is making a lot of noise about the octa-core 1.7GHz processor. While no one at the Acer stand was forthcoming about the manufacturer, my colleague Aloysius Low assures me it's a MediaTek processor. It's rounded out with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, along with a 13-megapixel camera. The camera also has a 0.3 second focus time and motion tracking.

One particularly neat software trick from Acer is the Zoom Fit, built for people who complain that phones are getting too big. By holding down the home button and dragging it off to the left, you can Zoom Fit, which immediate resizes your screen interface to 4-inches. You can then reposition the smaller interface anywhere on the 5.7-inch screen that you like. It's a bit odd, but it's meant to convert the X1 for one-handed operation.

Acer Liquid Z500 Mobile PhoneFrom $0

If the Liquid Z500 is a cheap smartphone, it still has a 5-inch screen quality with IPS technology, which offers very good viewing angles. With a definition of 720 x 1280 pixels, it has a very good contrast (1258: 1) and acceptable brightness (302 cd / m²). This is however not the only smartphone with this kind of flattering screen. Navigating the Android 4.4 system interface proves enjoyable with good responsiveness of the device and the Acer UI overlay adds a rather pleasant wave effect to the home screen with direct access to four applications (phone, SMS, web browser, camera). We also liked the fluidity of navigation in Web pages. As for the sound from the speakers and DTS Studio Sound enhancement system, it is not bad but is cold and lacks bass. In this area, the smartphone does not equal the quality of the HTC One M8. Note that the DTS control panel to adjust the bass and treble, or even select a preset EQ Mode (rock, jazz, pop, etc.).

Nokia 107 Mobile PhoneFrom $49

Everyone would agree that the Feature phones from Nokia are the best that we have seen. Nokia failed to transition its success with feature phones into its success with smartphones and hence the takeover by Microsoft. Nokia Launched Nokia 107 last week which is another feature phone priced at only Rs. 1,607. Let’s take a look at what this phone is offering. Nokia 107 comes with a 1020 mAh battery which provides you with a talk time of up to 12 hours and 40 minutes and the standby time is 576 hours which is pretty amazing and suit those who are involved with extensive calling. This battery will also support Music playback of up to 35 hours. The internal storage of this phone can store up to 500 contacts and you can increase the memory TO 16 GB using a microSD card. The RAM in this phone is 4 MB, Which should be sufficient for day to day calling and minor Apps.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 64GB 4G Mobile Cell PhoneFrom $1199

The Galaxy Note 5, as expected, features an aluminum and glass design near identical to that which debuted on the Galaxy S6 earlier this year, and it will be available in black, white, gold and silver models.

One difference is that the Galaxy Note 5's chassis comes with a slot for Samsung's S Pen stylus, allowing users to doodle and note-make on the smartphone's display, and it's unsurprisngly bigger than its S6 sibling, measuring in at 7.6mm thick and tipping the scales at 171g. Typically, there's a fingerprint scanner baked into the Note 5's home button.

Speaking of which, the Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7in 2440x1560 QHD Super AMOLED display at its forefront, the same size as the screen on last year's model.

Under the hood you'll find Samsung's own own 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor based on a 14nm architecture and 4GB RAM. The device will ship with either 32GB or 64GB storage built-in, with Samsung opting against adding a 128GB model. This likely will disappoint many - especially given that the handset, unlike the Galaxy Note 4, doesn't have a microSD slot.
