GREENOCK CREEK CORNERSTONE GRENACHE 2012From $33.99
GREENOCK CREEK CORNERSTONE GRENACHE 2012: "Raspberries, like you expect of ripe Grenache. Really rosy Turkish delight with plenty of confectioner's sugar. Maraschino cocktail cherries...In the long-term, it'll assure the wine lives a delicious decade in your cellar, maybe two." Philip White 94++ Points!

RUSDEN BLACK GUTS SHIRAZ 2012From $88.99
RUSDEN BLACK GUTS SHIRAZ 2012: Its wines like the 2012 Black Guts that make me remember to stop and appreciate the beautiful place I call home and am blessed enough to be able to ply my trade. I think 2012 as a vintage sits on top of the ladder with the profound 2002’s. It is one of the most perfect years I have seen for Shiraz in almost 20 years of making wine here at Rusden. It will benefit from decanting if opened in its youth; at the moment it looks its best 24 to 48 hours after opening. Time will tell how well it rewards cellaring. I’m certain it has the capacity to eventually outweigh the 2002 in terms of its density and precision. Plums and blackberries with hints of leather, roast meat, herb, pepper and exotic spice characters dominate the nose with a touch of the hallmark violet and mocha. A full bodied, rich, powerful and velvety smooth palate with a very long finish, it has a long life ahead of it. Christian Canute

RUSDEN CHOOKSHED ZINFANDEL 2013From $49.99
RUSDEN CHOOKSHED ZINFANDEL 2013: 2013 was an ultra-low yielding vintage, the result of a very dry growing season. From low yields, and great quality fruit, comes this densely packed, layered Zinfandel, reminiscent of the very best single vineyard Californian examples. It’s spent 18 months in 50% French and 50% American barriques- half of the barrels were new oak and it’s soaked that up with ease. Put simply, it’s a massive wine that I’m very proud of this year. A rich blend of Morello cherries, five spice and raisins leads to a full throttle palate with rich, dark fruits that give way to fine tannin and a clean, persistent finish.Christian Canute
RUSDEN BOUNDRIES CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2012From $65.99
RUSDEN BOUNDRIES CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2012: Here’s some pretty special stuff… The 2012 Boundaries (100% Cabernet) bolted out of the starting gate and never looked back. From day dot, this wine has been an absolute stunner. Tobacco leaf, cedar, all spice and subtle blackcurrant hints weave in and out of its incredibly complex nose. The silken, velvety smooth palate flaunts garden herbs and vanilla bean with lashings of cassis, plum and cedar. It finishes long and luscious and it’s simply spectacular. Best vintage for Cabernet in our 19 vintages, bar none.Christian Canute.
RUSDEN POCO LOCO ROSE 2014From $24.99
RUSDEN POCO LOCO ROSE 2014: My inspiration for the Poco Loco was an enchanting French Bandol Rosé I enjoyed on the waterfront in Sydney Harbour last summer. Having never been a fan of the sometimes sickly sweet versions produced in mainstream Australia, this much dryer version really grabbed my attention with its fruit driven roundness and generosity. So during the 2014 vintage, I came across a Cinsault/Ugni Blanc vineyard neighbouring our Rusden vineyards which I thought would make a great base for our own version of this captivating style. It’s a blend of 52% Grenache, 22% Mataro, 19% Cinsault and 7% Ugni Blanc. The Mataro is Saignee (cold soaked on skins for 24 hours) and the rest is from grapes treated as for making white wine. Grenache and Cinsault are crushed directly into the basket press with the white grape Ugni Blanc (White Hermitage/Trebbiano) mixed in. It’s fermented, and then aged on lees in stainless steel tanks for 5 months prior to bottling. The result is a pale coloured wine with delicate salmon/copper hues. With a pure expression of its terroir and great freshness, it is to be enjoyed in its youth- perfect for summer drinking and will match perfectly with Bouillabaisse and other Fish and Shellfish dishes. Shades of Salmon and Rosewater in appearance, with hints of pink grapefruit, along with strawberries and peach. It has a textural palate, which leads to a long, dry finish.Christian Canute
SMITHBROOK CHARDONNAY 2011From $15.99
SMITHBROOK CHARDONNAY 2011: Colour: Pale gold with lime hues. Aroma: This chardonnay displays intense citrus fruits with hints of French oak. Palate: A medium-bodied wine displaying complex citrus characters and a tight acid structure. This wine has a strong and lingering finish.
CHATEAU MIRAVAL ROSE 2013From $34.99
CHATEAU MIRAVAL ROSE 2013: You’ve heard of this wine even if you don’t think you have. This wine is what happens when you take one of France’s most renowned wine-makers, Marc Perrin of Beaucastel, and two people who’ve been in a couple of movies, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and they release a wine together. It’s traditional Provencal pink blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Rolle and came in at number 84 in Wine Spectator’s list of the top 100 wines of 2013, the only rosé to make the list. It was described as such on Steven Tanzer ‘s International Wine Cellar as: “Pale orange. Fresh tangerine, strawberry and white flowers on the fragrant, mineral-accented nose.  Silky and precise, offering tangy red fruit flavors that are lifted and sharpened by a white pepper nuance.  Finishes clean, nervy and long, with excellent clarity and lingering minerality. This suave wine has the power to work with rich foods and the energy to give pleasure by itself.”
HOLLICK RAVENSWOOD CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2010From $68.99
HOLLICK RAVENSWOOD CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2010: A selection of the best parts of the vineyard is the correct starting point in my view, and here fully justified 18 months maturation in new French barriques. Has retained excellent crimson-purple colour; this is a distinguished medium to full-bodied wine, as complex as it is long, its black fruits easily handling the oak and tannins.' 96 Points. James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2015
