For the first six months, this plan only costs $40 per month which is only $1 more than the current cheapest NBN25 introductory offer from Flip mobile. NBN 50 | $50 per month for first six months (then $80 per month)
An NBN 50 plan is ideal for larger families with four to six internet users. Mate’s NBN50 plan advertises 48Mbps download speeds and 19Mbps upload speeds during the busier evening hours and costs only $50 per month for the first six months. For the first six months, this is the cheapest NBN50 plan on the market and after the first six months, this plan costs $80 per month which is still $3.10 cheaper than the average price of an NBN 50 plan in Australia.
NBN 100/20 | $60 per month for first six months (then $90 per month)
Mate’s NBN 100 plan costs only $60 per month for the first six months and then $90 per month thereafter. An NBN100 plan is perfect for households with six or more users and for those who work at home or need fast download speeds and 4K video streaming. Mate’s NBN 100 plan quotes 95Mbps download speeds and 19Mbps upload speeds. With the introductory offer, this plan is the cheapest NBN100 plan on the market for the first six months. After the first six months, this plan is still decent value, costing $1.05 less than the average NBN 100 plan.
Mate’s NBN 250 plan is also included in the $30 per month discount however this plan only comes with 202Mbps typical evening speeds which are significantly slower than the speeds offered by most other NBN 250 plans. In addition, after the first six months, this plan costs almost $10 more per month than the average price of NBN250 plans. So if you need fast internet, it’s probably worth going with a different provider.
