After the first six months, this plan is still decent value, costing $1.05 less than the average NBN 100 plan.

Mate’s NBN 250 plan is also included in the $30 per month discount however this plan only comes with 202Mbps typical evening speeds which are significantly slower than the speeds offered by most other NBN 250 plans. In addition, after the first six months, this plan costs almost $10 more per month than the average price of NBN250 plans. So if you need fast internet, it’s probably worth going with a different provider.
