FAQs

What is Click Frenzy?

Click Frenzy started out as an online-only Australian shopping event in 2012, in response to the popularity of online Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in the US. Click Frenzy doesn’t sell products directly, but instead partners with Australian retailers to bring together thousands of deals from hundreds of online stores into one central location.

While it began as a 24-hour online-only sale, Click Frenzy now typically runs for multiple days, and you can shop its deals online and sometimes in stores as well. For a few years, Click Frenzy also held a sale called Click Frenzy Julove, but this didn’t return in 2023. With the rise of competing sales such as Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day, Click Frenzy isn’t quite as popular as it used to be, but it can still be a great opportunity to score some genuinely good deals.

When is Click Frenzy in 2025?

Click Frenzy sales are held a couple of times a year – usually starting with Click Frenzy Mayhem, which is always held in May and finishing with with Click Frenzy The Main Event which is held in October or November.

This year, we don't yet have the dates for Click Frenzy The Main Event but here's what we know so far:

Paypal Frenzy: March 4, 2025 at 7pm AEST
Click Frenzy Mayhem: May 13, 2025 at 7pm AEST
Click Frenzy Travel: March 26, 2025 at 7pm AEDT
Click Frenzy The Main Event: November 11, 2025 and 7pm AEDT

While there are a few sales held each year, all Click Frenzy sales officially start at 7pm Eastern Australian time on the designated start date. Over the years, however, we’ve noticed that participating retailers often don’t wait for that official start time. Some kick off their individual online sales a day before. And even for those that haven't, you can usually expect Click Frenzy deals to start appearing around lunchtime on the official start date.

How does Click Frenzy work?

During a sale, the Click Frenzy website allows you to browse thousands of deals from hundreds of retailers and brands, all from one location. However, as we mentioned above, you aren’t able to purchase products directly through Click Frenzy. Instead, when you click a deal on the website, Click Frenzy will take you directly to the retailer’s website to complete the purchase.

Retailer’s websites also let you browse almost all their Click Frenzy deals directly on their own site, barring a few special offers which are exclusive to the Click Frenzy site itself.

What brands participate in Click Frenzy sales?

The brands participating in Click Frenzy changes each year, but there are plenty of mainstays that we see time and time again. Some of the big retailers which often participate include JB Hi-Fi, Target and The Good Guys, while brands such as Adidas, Bose, Dyson, HP, KitchenAid and Lenovo frequently join Click Frenzy.

This wide variety of outlets means that Click Frenzy’s deals cover everything from tech and home appliances to clothing, shoes, beauty, travel, pets and more.

Is Click Frenzy free to join?

Click Frenzy is free to join, though you don’t have to be a member to take advantage of Click Frenzy’s sales. There are a few small benefits that come with being a subscriber though, a key one being earlier access to Click Frenzy’s deals, so you can start browsing the site 30 minutes before the 7pm start time.

Another benefit of becoming a member is the chance to score one of Click Frenzy’s 99% off deals. These 99% off deals can be a big drawcard for shoppers, though there is a limited quantity on offer, and they pop up on the website at random times throughout the sale. Some examples of these 99% off deals include a PlayStation 5 for AU$6, a Nintendo Switch for AU$5 and an Apple MacBook for AU$19.

Again, these deals are not easy to get and require you to be signed into the Click Frenzy website in order to see them. Once the deal does pop up on site, you’ll need to answer a question related to the sale, and be one of the fastest to answer. We’ve seen Click Frenzy offering hints on its social channels about when these deals will drop, along with answer clues.

How can you prepare for Click Frenzy?

Before the next Click Frenzy sale arrives, we recommend becoming a Click Frenzy member. Signing up is free, and can be done quickly and easily on the website. As we’ve mentioned, members are able to access Click Frenzy deals on the website 30 minutes before everyone else. The other benefit to being a member is the chance to score one of Click Frenzy’s 99% off special deals.

Another tip that we have for any major sale is to know what you want to buy, and compare current prices. That way, once the sale starts, you’ll be more confident in knowing that what you’re buying is a genuinely good deal (or knowing it’s one you should skip altogether).

That’s what Getprice is here for – we monitor hundreds of retailers in Australia and compare prices at a glance, so you can see whether Amazon, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys or another retailer has the lowest price on the product you want.

Finally, we suggest bookmarking this article. As each Click Frenzy sale approaches, we’ll be updating this page with the confirmed list of retailers, and helping you hunt down the best deals while the sale is on.
