Dodo’s aggressive EOFY deals have seen prices slashed across its entire NBN plan lineup, making them among the cheapest in the process. While Dodo offers plans up to NBN 1000, for me these two are the real highlights due to how price competitive they are:

• 25Mbps | $71.99 $39.99
• 500Mbps | $92.99 $60.99

Note that this is an exclusive deal that’s not available directly on the Dodo site – only through our links. And be aware that there’s a strict end date of June 30, so get in quick if you’re keen.

Origin NBN | Save 50% on all plans (first 6 months) | Prices from $47p/m
Origin is best known as an energy provider, but it also offers a range of NBN plans. While its NBN plans typically sit on the more expensive side, the current EOFY offer makes them much more affordable for the first six months. These are the two standouts due to their exceptionally competitive prices during those first six months:

• 500Mbps | $112 $56
• 1000Mbps | $144 $72

The caveat here is that Origin’s regular plan prices are a little higher than average, so you may want to shop around for another deal once your six months are up. If you’re an Origin energy customer (or open to switching), you can however bundle an energy and NBN plan to receive an ongoing $10 per month discount on your NBN bill. This offer expires on 30 June.

Optus | Save $20p/m on select NBN plans (first 12 months) | Prices from $79p/m
If you want the assurance of getting your internet from one of Australia’s biggest telcos, Optus has discounted its three fastest NBN plans (NBN 100, 500 and 1000) for the entire first year – which adds up to $240 in total savings – and all plans include a free Wi-Fi 6 modem if you stay connected for 24 months. The NBN 1000 plan also comes with an additional bonus: $20 monthly credit to spend on a streaming subscription of your choice (such as Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount Plus, Binge and more) via Optus Subhub. Here are the pricing details:

• 100Mbps | $99 $79
• 500Mbps | $99 $79
• 1000Mbps | $129 $109

Superloop NBN | Save up to $30p/m (first 6 months) | Prices from $45p/m
Superloop has discounted its NBN plans by between $20 and $30 per month for the first six months. The exact saving depends on the plan selected, with the NBN 1000 plan receiving the maximum discount – here’s the rundown:

• 25Mbps | $72 $45
• 50Mbps | $85 $65
• 500Mbps | $95 $69
• 750Mbps | $104 $75
• 1000Mbps | $109 $79

While there’s no advertised end date on this offer, the company has called it an EOFY promo in a blog post, so we recommend acting fast to avoid missing out.

Optus 5G Home Internet | Save $20p/month on all Optus 5G Plans internet plans for the first 12 months
If your home is in an area with coverage, a 5G home internet plan can be a cost-effective alternative to NBN, with plan prices often a little lower for comparable (or potentially faster) speeds. Optus offers three 5G internet plans, with typical evening speeds ranging from 50Mbps to 230Mbps — the fastest plan is technically uncapped, so you could achieve near-gigabit speeds — and all three are currently discounted as follows:

• 50Mbps | $69 $49
• 100Mbps | $79 $59
• 250Mbps | $99 $79

That 50Mbps plan stands out in particular, as you won’t currently find any discounted NBN 50 plans available for just $49 per month. This EOFY offer ends on 6 July.

Lyca Mobile | Save up to 54% on long-term plans
While Lyca has discounted a selection of both short-term (28 day) as well as long-term plans (180 day and 360 day) this EOFY, it’s really the latter that are noteworthy. The short-term plan deals only run for the first 28 days, however the long expiry plans are quite heavily discounted, making them very good value when you consider their cost per gigabyte.

Here’s a breakdown of the best Lyca EOFY offers:

• Small Long Term plan (180 day expiry) | $120 $90 for 120GB (broken up into 6 lots of 20GB)
• Medium Long Term plan (360 day expiry) | $240 $150 for 360GB (broken up into 12 lots of 30GB)
• Large Long Term plan (360 day expiry) | $480 $220 for 900GB (broken up into 12 lots of 75GB)

Lyca runs on the Vodafone 5G network, and these mobile deals end 25 June, so be sure to act quick to lock in these prices.

Optus Mobile Small plan | $39p/m for 60GB (first 12 months, then $60p/m)
Optus has discounted its smallest SIM-only plan, making it much more affordable for the first year. Here are the details:

• Small Choice Plus Plan | $60 $39 for 60GB

This plan can also be bundled with a device if you’re looking to get a new phone without paying upfront. Just keep in mind that after the first year, the plan price will increase to $60 per month ongoing while you pay off the handset. This offer ends on 7 July.

Vodafone Mobile Prepaid | Save up to $131 and get bonus data on select plans
Vodafone has discounted select prepaid plans this EOFY (two 28-day, one 6-month and one 365-day) and all of them also come with bonus data. The good news is that all of these plans let you bank up to 300GB of unused data (if you recharge before the plan expires), meaning you can save some of the bonus data from the first few months and build up a data bank to use once the allowance decreases. The discounted price and bonus data allowances vary for each plan – here’s a breakdown:

• $40 Prepaid Plus SIM (28 day expiry) | $40 $13 (for the first 28 days) for 30GB 110GB (for the first 3 recharges)
