Best Lego deals in Australia
As we’ve already mentioned, Lego sets can be very expensive, especially the most popular and most complex ones, so it can be worth shopping around to find a good deal. While you can shop online directly at Lego.com, the chances of finding a discount is usually higher at third-party retailers, particularly Amazon.
In Australia, there are lots of retailers who stock Lego, including Amazon, Myer, Target, Kogan and many more. Lots of these retailers also have regular sales so you can save money if you buy during these dedicated periods. The good news is that sales happen often, especially at Amazon and Myer, so no matter the time of year, there’ll be a discounted Lego set to be had.
Newly released sets
New Lego sets are being released all the time but the major releases usually happen in January, June and August, with up to 100 sets being released at this time. There are also minor releases of new sets most other months. Here are some of the most exciting new Lego releases. Bear in mind that most of these new releases are only currently available for pre-order or back order so you will have to wait to receive your purchase.

How to save on Lego: our top tips & tricks
Shop during sales: Many retailers that sell Lego hold sales during the year where they discount lots of items including select Lego sets. If you wait for these sale periods to shop, you can probably save some money. The biggest sale periods include EOFY sales in June, Black Friday in November and Boxing Day sales in December and retailers such as Myer, Amazon and Target usually participate in these sales.
Check Amazon AU: There is an official Lego store on Amazon and we’ve seen at least a handful of sets being discounted practically all year round. So if you’re keen on a new set outside of a sale event, head to Amazon first to see if the set you’re after is on sale there before shopping elsewhere.
Look for coupons and discount codes: Coupon codes are a good way to save on purchases from big retailers.
