Online retail giant Amazon AU has announced the official dates for its 2025 Prime Day sale, confirming that it’ll be the longest Prime Day that Australia has seen to date. This year, the sale will run for a full week, starting 12.01am AEST on Tuesday, 8 July and wrapping up at 11.59pm AEST on Monday, 14 July.
Prime Day is Amazon’s biggest sales event of the year, offering a wide range of discounts, including many exclusive deals only available to paying Prime members. It first launched in the US in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary, and what originated as a one-day event has continued to grow and expand over the past 10 years. Australia is one of the countries with the longest Prime Day sales, with last year’s running for six days, and extending to a full week this year.
The week-long 2025 sale gives Australian Prime members plenty of time to shop deals across a huge range of categories. In previous years, we’ve seen record-low prices on items such as smartphones, earbuds and Amazon’s own devices, as well as popular home and kitchen appliances, beauty products, fashion items and more.
As always, you’ll likely need to be a Prime member to access the best deals. With the sale less than a month away, signing up for Prime now will mean your first month of membership will cover the entire sale, ensuring you’re not locked out of any exclusive offers.
