Apple launched a raft of new 2026 iPhone and Watch devices last Friday (September 18) in Australia, with thousands of Apple users lining up at their local store to nab one of the new products.
One of the release highlights was the Apple Watch Ultra 4, with the premium wearable boasting an all-new Health Sensing system which claims to off the most accurate heart rate measurement in a wearable.
It also has a new 'Readiness' score feature to help you better understand your health and fitness data (also found in the new Apple Watch Series 12). And the Watch Ultra 4 has the best battery life of all Apple's wearables — with up to 50 hours on a single charge.
Over the past week, I've spent hands-on time testing the smart wearable, and I can honestly say it's exceeded all of my expectations. You can check out my initial unboxing video for some of those thoughts below.
The Watch Ultra 4 is available only in a GPS + Cellular variant, with prices varying based on your preferred strap. The base model with an Alpine, Trail or Ocean Loop costs $1,349 at Apple or $1,347 on Amazon. If you want the more premium Titanium Milanese Loop, that will set you back a total of $1,499 .
If you're keen on nabbing the wearable for yourself, you can check out some further Australian retailers below. Full RRP too expensive? Create a price alert on our Apple Watch Ultra 4 comparison page, and we'll send you an email when there's a deal!
