Brooches and pins mad new york city

  1. Tokens & Icons was founded in 1991, when Ward Wallau, recently out of hotel school, decided to utilise his entrepreneurial know-how and transform New York City Transit Authority's "Y-Cut" subway tokens into cufflinks. Ward believed the tokens were a logical and creative way to reincorporate an aspect of the city's rich history into the everyday life of New Yorkers. So of course, these cufflinks became the first collection by Tokens & Icons. Today, Tokens & Icons' entire range is hand-crafted from, or incorporate, authentic artefacts, including Major League Baseball bats National Hockey League pucks and more. In 1942, twelve years after the term "crossword" entered the dictionary, the New York Times began publishing its own iconic version of the crossword puzzle. Crafted from an authentic, solvable crossword puzzle created by New York Times puzzle editor, Will Shortz, you'll find this very crossword puzzle adorning these Cufflinks. Set in a sterling silver bezel, these cufflinks are the perfect accessory for any collector or wordsmith. New York Times Crossword Puzzle Cufflinks features: Crafted from genuine, solvable 25-square crossword puzzles. Printed on authentic times newsprint. Cufflinks are set in a sterling silver bezel, and crossword is protected by mineral glass. Includes a Tokens & Icons box with an authentication instruction card. Beautifully presented in a Tokens & Icons gift box. Cufflink Diameter: 1.8cm.
