This Cabernet Sauvignon from Hilltops shows rich dark currant fruit with autumn leaves aromas that flow nicely onto the palate supported by cedar wood spices and soft velvety tannins. A near perfect growing season with consistent warm weather with no detrimental heat spikes to affect the grapes ripening. The vines were able to ripen with minimal water stress, due to fuller soil profiles from the previous two seasons, with flowering and bunch set occurring perfectly. Mild to warm clear conditions continued through to May allowing the fruit to mature to full flavour maturity in great condition. Appearance: A vibrant crimson with youthful purple hues.
