Latest Apple model with larger screen & faster charge
The latest smartwatch on the market from Apple comes with all the functionality we already love on an Apple Watch with a few added benefits and premium features Apple aficionados are sure to want.
With 20% more screen area than its predecessor, the Apple Watch Series 7 comes chock full of features including improved durability, the most crack-resistant front crystal and same all-day battery life with up to 33% faster charging than the Series 6.
The Apple Watch Series 7 has the same swim-proof rating (up to 50 metres) as previous models but, for the first time, has earned itself an IP6X certification for dust resistance, taking it into a league of its own.
Available in two new sizes; 41mm and 45mm (slightly larger than previous generations), the new smartwatch chassis has a softer, more rounded edge with a black ceramic and sapphire crystal backing, and a Digital Crown with haptic feedback that has a built-in sensor for taking ECG readings when worn.
Perhaps the most desirable feature of the new Apple Watch Series 7 is the ability to charge a lot faster than previous models, with just eight minutes of charging providing up to eight hours of sleep tracking, keeping you accountable while you get your hard-earned ZZZs.
Amongst Apple’s most-loved features, this watch continues to support Apple Pay purchases and emergency calls with SOS, and has all the same health features of the Series 6 like sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, ECG, fall detection and more.
Complete in both GPS and GPS+LTE (operational without an iPhone nearby) models for both sizes, the Series 7 comes in five new aluminium casing colours, including Starlight, Midnight, Green, Blue and Red, plus the stainless steel options that still come in Silver, Graphite and Gold.

The Apple Watch 7 is basically the Watch 6 with a slightly larger screen and the ability to charge faster – most people will likely choose the Watch 7 because of the new attractive colors it comes in, rather than any new features. While it still packs a wide variety of impressive features, and is a superb second screen for an iPhone user (as well as being genuinely useful to anyone who needs the ECG or blood oxygen monitor regularly) the Watch 7 doesn’t offer the battery life, fitness or design overhaul that it needs to inspire an upgrade.
