  2. The Clickfast Fascia and Gutter system is one of the few products in Australia to receive the coveted classic design award. Your guarantee of excellence. Unlike timber you will not experience warping bowing knots or cracking. Instead you will receive a consistent trouble free product without the variability of price and quality often found with timber. The system uses side-fix fascia brackets which can be nailed into the side of the rafter rather than the end. Nailing into the side grain of rafters is far stronger than nailing into the end grain which may open up releasing the nail. The fascia then slides onto the side-fix rafter bracket allowing for free horizontal movement and uniform expansion and contraction and minimising distortion. The revolutionary suspension clip allows you to select the amount of fall the gutter receives. This high strength spring-clip is notched to allow for the clip to attach to the suspension rib found on all Stratco gutters. Gutters can even be adjusted later to correct house settlement.

  18. Stratco offer a wide range of Fluted Downpipes to suit a variety of applications. Square rectangular and round Fluted Downpipes are available to suit any style of home building or factory. Sizes available range from small drainage requirements up to large factory requirements. As a general guide in non cyclonic areas for every 10 square metres of actual roof area drained 700 square millimetres of Fluted Downpipe is required whether round or square. This calculation is based on the assumption that the maximum rainfall does not exceed 125mm per hour. It is considered the best practice to drain to different points using smaller Fluted Downpipes rather than to one large outlet. Where possible Fluted Downpipes should be spaced at not more than 12000mm centres. For a printable brochure on how to install Fluted Downpipes visit the Stratco website. or contact buybuildingsupplies.com.au
