Originally called Baby Q, Weber’s Q series portable gas grills are perhaps one of the best available in the market. Intelligent design and quality construction makes the Weber Q2000 one heck of a griller for both home and the outdoors.
Just how portable is it?
With a total weight of about 16kg, you won't want to be carrying this too far, but it is light enough that you can throw it in the car boot and pull it out at your camp or picnic site without much trouble. And with the option of the swing-out work surfaces, or griddles, that’s a compact cooker with additional space.
How easy is it to clean?
A removable drip tray and porcelain enamelled cast-iron grills makes the Q2000 an easy-to-clean cooker. Simply use the Weber three-sided grill brush on a warm Q2000 either before or after use and replace the drip tray with a new one if it gets full.
How long will the gas last?
The Weber Q2000 uses disposable 14.1 or 16.4 oz natural gas or LP gas cylinders. So how long you can make each cylinder last will depend on how often or how much you use the griller to cook.
How many people will the grill feed?
You can easily cook up to 13 burger patties on it at one go. With a split grill, you can could grill steaks on one side and lamb chops on the other, or roast up some fish. Heck, you could even try your hand at making some dessert on the Q2000. You even have the added surface of the swing-out plates to cook for a hungry horde if you aren’t using them as tabletops.
