Arguably the hardest thing about Christmas is figuring out what gifts to buy for the important people in your life. And what makes that even trickier are the people who are impossible to shop for – either because they already have everything they need (at least theoretically), or don’t like material things.
The good news is that there are a variety of alternative gifts that can work in these circumstances. To help, we’ve assembled a curated gift guide full of ideas perfect for the people who have everything and want nothing.

HelloFresh is one of the most popular meal kit delivery services in Australia, famous for its easy to follow recipes and fresh ingredients. What you may not have realised is that HelloFresh also sells gift cards.
A gift card from HelloFresh is quick and easy to organise and it allows the receiver to choose their own meal kits and have them delivered when it best suits! As well as being convenient, a gift card is a great way for someone to test HelloFresh for the first time without having to pay to decide if they like it.
A $75 gift card will feed two people for 3 nights and the other options are $90, $125 or $160 so you have options depending on your budget.
EveryPlate

While gifting someone toilet paper (or any other Who Gives A Crap product) may initially seem a bit bizarre, it’s actually a very practical gift because we all use these things in our daily life and the costs can add up (to say nothing of the environmental impact of regular toilet tissue). That said, we’d still caution that you might want to give some thought to how this gift will be received by your giftee before purchasing, because toilet paper or other hygiene supplies aren’t everyone's idea of a good gift.

Streaming subscriptions
Most Australian households have at least one subscription to a streaming service, but the cost of being signed up to several can quickly add up. You can’t buy a gift card solely for Amazon Prime Video, but as mentioned above, you can buy a general Amazon gift card that can then be used to pay for an Amazon Prime subscription.
For someone who only has a subscription to one of the more mainstream platforms, an Amazon Prime subscription is the perfect gift to allow them to broaden their horizons. With a wide range of content including classics like Suits, Seinfeld, The Office and Parks and Recreation as well as exclusive Prime, Paramount+ and Hayu content, there’s something for everyone.
Amazon gift cards can be loaded up for any amount between $1 and $2,000, but if you want the gift card to be used towards an Amazon Prime subscription, each month costs $9.99, or a yearly subscription can be had for $79. And as a backup, if your giftee doesn’t want to subscribe to Prime, they can use the card’s value to purchase something else from Amazon.

If you have a Disney (or Marvel) lover in your life who doesn’t already have a subscription to Disney+, the gift of a free subscription is a bit of a no-brainer. Currently, the only gifting option available is a year-long Premium subscription which costs $209.99 which may be out of some people’s budgets, but if you’re feeling generous, this is a great gift.
Also note that you’ll need to (stealthily) check your loved one’s subscription status prior to purchasing, as a Disney+ gift subscription is only available to someone who hasn’t used the service before. However, there is always the sneaky workaround of using a different email address…
