Next major Amazon sale - our prediction

Now that we are in 2026 and Amazon's Boxing Day sale is over, we predict that the retailer’s next major sales event is likely to be its Big Smile Sale which usually occurs in March.

Last year, the sale ran for a full week from March 18 - March 24 so it’s reasonable to expect a similar timeframe this year.

In previous years we’ve seen significant discounts across a wide range of categories from popular tech like smartwatches, headphones, smartphones and tablets, to kitchen appliances, clothing, accessories and beauty essentials. Stay tuned to find out more information as we get closer to the sale.

This week’s deal highlights

While Amazon isn't holding a big sale right now, there are still a wide range of discounts available.

Here are some of the top deals from this week at Amazon:

Our colleagues at TechRadar gave these headphones 4.5 stars in their review, praising the sound quality, noise cancellation and comfort. In 2023, Amazon Prime Day kicked off in Australia at 12:01am AEST on July 11 and deals continued until 11:59pm on July 12. Aussies were then able to shop international offers on Amazon while Prime Day continued overseas, thanks to the timezone difference.
