Asus ProArt Display PA32DC 31.5inch OLED

Announced in Australia in March 2025, the ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM is a 31.5-inch 4K UHD monitor designed to meet the exacting standards of professional content creators. Combining cutting-edge QD-OLED technology with high refresh rates and exceptional colour accuracy, it caters to a broad range of creative disciplines, from video editing and colour grading to game development and digital illustration. This product is not yet available in Australia so we don’t yet have an RRP, however the product announcement from ASUS mentioned an American RRP of US$1,699.  

The display boasts a 3840 x 2160 resolution, delivering sharp and detailed visuals across its expansive screen. Its QD-OLED panel achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits (on a 3% window), ensuring vivid highlights and deep blacks, which is particularly beneficial for HDR content. With support for multiple HDR formats, including HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision (the latter available via a firmware update in Q3 2025), the monitor offers versatility for various content standards. 

Colour accuracy is a standout feature, with the monitor covering 99% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and 100% of sRGB. Factory calibration ensures a Delta E of less than 1, providing precise colour reproduction essential for professional work. The true 10-bit colour depth further enhances the display's ability to render subtle gradients and colour nuances. 

Performance-wise, the PA32UCDM supports a refresh rate of up to 240Hz and a response time of 0.1 ms (GTG), facilitating smooth motion rendering. This makes it suitable not only for static content creation but also for tasks involving fast-moving visuals, such as video editing and game development. 

Connectivity options are comprehensive, featuring dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports with up to 96W Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, and a built-in USB hub. These connections support high-speed data transfer and charging capabilities, accommodating a variety of devices and workflows. 

Ergonomic design considerations include tilt, pivot, and height adjustments, allowing users to customise the monitor's position for comfort during extended use. The monitor also aligns with green sustainability initiatives, incorporating paper packaging and adhering to energy-efficient environmental standards.
