Now that we have the perfect cocktail of supply and the run-up to Christmas, prices of the Sony PlayStation 5 have been tumbling as of late. Sony itself recently lowered the official price to $684.95, which the major retailers in Australia have also honoured.
But head over to Sony’s eBay store, and thanks to an eBay exclusive code, you can now pick one up for $630.15. It’s not the absolute lowest price we’ve seen to date on the next-gen gaming console, as Sony did accept a code that brought the price down to $624.95 recently. For this still cracking deal, however, you’ll need to enter the code SAVB8 at checkout, but be quick, this voucher expires on October 5, 2023.
This deal is on the disc version of the console, as opposed to the digital, which means if you already have a collection of PlayStation 4 games, you’ll be able to install and play them thanks to backwards compatibility. You can also play Blu-ray movie discs, including 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, but do note that it still has yet to offer support for Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos, however, is now supported.
But, since this is a gaming console first and foremost, we imagine that’s what many owners will be using it for, and for that, it’s a doozy.
If you do happen to miss out, fret not, as The Gamesmen’s eBay store is also accepting a longer running eBay code – SNSOCT23 – that brings the price of the same PlayStation 5 disc console down to $632.
